Level 1 (Basics / Fundamentals):  Learning standing and seated postures, gentle backbends and mild inversions, twists and breathing techniques.

Level 2 (Intermediate):  Vinyasa flow, arm balances, core building and strengthening postures, and breath maximizing techniques.

Level 3 (Advanced):  Strong standing postures, inversions, back bends, repetitive warrior series flow, variations of planks, arm balances.

Pre/Post Natal:  Yoga series focused on the transformative body of the mom-to-be.  As the body changes, through each stage/trimester, so are the needs of the physical and mental state of the mom.  Learn to adjust to the changing body, focus on breathing techniques that will ensure calmness during the challenging times through deliver y in the months and years to come.  Strengthen the pelvic muscles, arm, and legs to help with a speedy recovery-post baby.

Kids (Elementary school age):  A playful yet structured environment that will help release energy.  Classes will help the younger ones to focus on the task at hand, bring body awareness, sharpen listening skills, following directions, respecting self and others, as well as building trust and confidence in their own abilities.

Kids (Preschool age):  A fun yoga class for youngsters.  They will learn to move their bodies through various postures such as mountain, butterfly, eagle, chair poses, etc.  The poses will help them release energy, build strength, & increase body awareness.  Children will learn to listen and follow direction to accomplish each pose.  They will also learn breathing techniques to achieve calmness and self control.

Date / Partner night:  This class is designed for partner work.  Bring a spouse, date, a loved one, a friend, a sibling or a companion with whom you are willing to spend time with, build trust in self as well as your partner/date, learn to accept support, be an encouragement, laugh out loud, learn to let go of all life’s demands  during this energizing and fun yoga practice.  It’s an ideal time where you can leave all worries, demands, expectations or judgments behind.  Enjoy this lighthearted and noncompetitive environment- a truly healthy date time, without  any preparation, dressing up or requirements on your part!

Ladies’ night:  Enjoy a night out with your girlfriends. No Stress, no worries–it’s all about you!

Meditative / Restorative: in this class the primary focus is learning to listen to your breath, your body and your mind.  You will be guided through slow and fluid movements, mindful breathing while acknowledging your mind’s distractions/chatter, without attachment and criticism.

Teen: In this class girls and boys will learn to embrace all the significant changes that take place in their chemistry and physiology during the adolescent years.  They will learn to cope with all the imbalances that occur during these changing years such as mood swings, frustration, awkwardness, rebellion and others.  The poses and breathing techniques will challenge the teens while fostering confidence in self.  The consistent practice will teach them to be patient, intently improving on each pose through each breath.
